I am an AI Engineer at AETHER NOVA AI and a Software Engineering student at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. I build LLM applications end to end: from document ingestion and retrieval to agent orchestration, evaluation and production operations.
My graduation thesis, UniSage, is an agentic RAG assistant that answers academic questions from university documents with citations, access control, prompt-injection guardrails and multi-LLM cost tracking. At work I fix and evaluate LLM prompts, benchmark local OCR models and fine-tune OCR for Vietnamese documents.
Before moving into AI, I built backend systems with Java / Spring Boot: microservices, real-time messaging with WebSocket, and CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Jenkins.

AI Engineer · LISA AI – AI Visa Assistant & Document OCR Extraction
- Fixed 111 prompt bugs in the LLM agent and document extraction, re-evaluating output quality after each fix
- Benchmarked local OCR models (PaddleOCR, PP-StructureV3, PaddleOCR-VL, Tesseract) against Google Vision on Exact Match, CER/WER, latency and concurrency
- Built an OCR precheck stage that rejects invalid files (blank pages, low resolution, page budget) before running OCR or Vision LLM
- Prepared Vietnamese datasets, fine-tuned PP-OCRv5 recognition, then tested and evaluated it against the base model
